Google Local UK Launches

Boy, web maps in the UK have always been at least 5 years behind the US. Even this afternoon I was stuck using streetmap.co.uk which is ugly and slow.

So imagine my glee just now when I saw that google had launched their Local UK Service with maps and services superimposed. GO..OOO GOOOGLE. That Rocks

Now if I want to catch a cafe near my house:
