I’ve decided that I’ve got to start being more serious with my blog. I’m going throught this transition from being a technologist to becoming a secondary school teacher and I need a method of recording the things and ideas that I am discovering on and off the web, just so I can remember the pieces even if I can’t yet tie it together.
The plan for the blog is to:
- Keep it short and simle by sticking to the facts. Leave the interpretation for another day
- Post daily
- Stick to the theme of a technologist turning secondary school teacher, remember the question that I formed when I first observed lessons 6 months ago. “How do you teach, when everything that you could ever know can be found on the Internet?”
- Find the segment of the blogoshere where I belong and start commenting / trackbacking to make it a more communal experience.
- Do a graphical makeover of the site (new WordPress theme) and maybe even change the name
- Check this list Blog Easy, Blog Often
I’ve not found blogging easy in the past. Hopefully with this plan I can start getting somewhere.
